You can make a difference in a student’s life by becoming a mentor!

Becoming a mentor with 10,000 Degrees takes a minimum commitment of one hour per month throughout the student’s senior year. Sometimes it takes only these small words, “You CAN go to college,” to change someone’s future. 10,000 Degrees invests in the personal and professional development of our mentors by providing on-going training and support throughout the year.

Training includes:

  • Mentoring
  • Cultural competency
  • Financial aid & scholarships
  • College admissions and college entrance exams
