Jean Ludwick Gives Back

Long-time 10,000 Degrees supporter, Jean Ludwick approaches her real estate career with a commitment to providing superior service. “I love what I do,” she explains, “and I want great results for my clients.” Throughout her twenty years in real estate sales in Tahoe and Marin, Jean has also made a point to be involved in local organizations.

“I think it’s so important to give back to the community,” she says, “and organizations like 10,000 Degrees are doing such important work.” Fortunately for 10,000 Degrees, Jean is doing important work as well for our students and staff, including mentoring one of our students, Alex Simmons, now in his third year at Chico State. Alex has always wanted to be in international business and had the opportunity to study abroad for six months in Thailand. “It was a wonderful experience for Alex,” Jean explains, “and he learned and loved so much about the people he met.” Alex will graduate with a Business Degree.

In the past, Jean has served as a committee member for our One Amazing Night gala and currently participates in a great planned giving strategy: with each home she sells, Jean makes a $200 donation to 10,000 Degrees. At the same time, Zephyr Real Estate, where Jean has worked since 2015, donates an additional $100. “I am so impressed with 10,000 Degrees students,” she says, “and so I want to do my part, too.”

From the students, their families, and our entire staff and volunteers… Thank you Jean!
