SPARK A DREAM… LIGHT THE WORLD was the theme of the 10,000 Degrees 2013 Scholarship Night and our supporters did just that. We netted over $295,000 to support our students and announced our intent to support every student with need in Marin by 2018.

10,000 Degrees Institute alum and current scholarship recipient, Kaila McDonald (right, top), delivered the keynote address. We premiered our new video featuring five of our alumni champions (right, middle). And 10,000 Degrees alum and former Chair of the Board, Saul Peña (right, bottom), accepted the Pay It Forward award honoring his years of service.

Many of our donors, staff, mentors and volunteers took a seat in the Marin Civic Center and told us about the impact of their own college degrees (bottom). Watch the video below to hear their stories and scroll down the page to view photos from the night.
