Kim Mazzuca has served as the President & CEO of 10,000 Degrees® since 1999. A Bay Area native and first generation college graduate, Kim has dedicated her life to social justice. She brings more than two decades of executive nonprofit management and philanthropic leadership in the areas of youth development, human services, workforce development, and education. Prior to joining 10,000 Degrees®, Kim served as the Associate Executive Director of Jewish Vocational Service and as Director of Rehabilitation and Special Assistant to the Founder and Director for RCH, Inc. She holds her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from San Francisco State University, is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Program for Nonprofit Leaders, where she was named a fellow in 2001, and is currently seeking her doctoral degree in Organization and Leadership at the University of San Francisco.
In 2014, Kim was named a Nonprofit Leader of the Year by North Bay Business Journal and in 2015, she was named Legislative Woman of the Year for California’s 10th District. Kim has served on numerous community boards, including the National College Access Network Board of Directors, where she completed a three-year term as board president. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Prison University Project at San Quentin.
Lisa received her bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America in 1984, and then received her Juris Doctor from The Columbus School of Law at Catholic U in 1988. Shortly after admission to the Maryland Bar, Lisa was appointed by Governor William Donald Schaeffer to direct the Maryland Commission for Women. From 1993 to 2005, Lisa directed the YWCA Sonoma County, leading the organization through many innovative joint ventures to better serve survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Following her 2006 admission to the California Bar, Lisa joined Spaulding McCullough & Tansil LLP and practiced law until joining Community Foundation Sonoma County to launch the Scholarship Sonoma County partnership with 10,000 Degrees. In November 2013, Lisa was appointed Regional Director for 10,000 Degrees in Sonoma County.
Lisa serves on several boards, including the Sonoma County Fair, Los Cien Sonoma County, LGBTQI Giving Circle, Forget Me Not Farm, Health Action Partnership, St. Joseph’s Health Community Benefit Committee, and Congressman Mike Thompson’s Immigration Advisory Group.
With over 25 years experience in advertising, marketing, and television, Rich has crafted national print campaigns for high-profile clients, developed stories and teleplay for sitcom series, and produced for the iconic sports cable program SportsCenter, for which he received two Emmys. His professional relationships as a writer, producer, and creative director include ESPN, DreamWorks Television, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey, Saatchi & Saatchi, and the Taproot Foundation. After over a decade living and working in Los Angeles, Rich joined 10,000 Degrees® in 2016, just as the organization launched its 5-year Strategic Plan, focusing on growth and sustainability.
Rich graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Advertising. He currently serves on the Healdsburg Health Action Committee and the board of Healdsburg Forever, a community endowment that issues grants to local nonprofits and managed by Community Foundation Sonoma County. Rich lives in Healdsburg with his wife and two young children.
Adrienne brings strategy consulting experience from her work at both The Bridgespan Group and Bain & Company with educational and youth development clients including America’s Promise Alliance, Aspire Public Schools, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The College Board, Higher Achievement, Jobs for the Future, and Talent Development High Schools. She has also worked directly in education as a Pre-K through high school teacher, completed MSW coursework and practicum, and spent many years volunteering with children and youth. Throughout her life, Adrienne has held a deep commitment to social justice and excellence for all. Adrienne holds a BA with Honors from the University of King’s College, an MA from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
Traci joined 10,000 Degrees® in 2003 and developed the organization’s first organizational advancement plan. She also co-founded Marin Educational Equity Week. In 2007, she was named Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was made Vice President and Deputy Director in 2013. Traci is responsible for organizational operations, including personnel, scholarship allocation, and budget. Previously, Traci served as Annual Giving Manager at the Colorado School of Mines, Account Manager for ProSavvy, an international business-to-business start-up, and Development Manager at the University of Phoenix. She earned her master’s degree in International Economics from the University of Denver and her bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University.
Traci played an instrumental role in the formation of Marin Promise and currently co-chairs their College Enrollment Action Team. She served the Advisory Council for COMPASS, (College of Marin Dual Enrollment Partnership) and as Special Advisor on projects for The College Board. She is also active in her children’s school.
Claudia joined 10,000 Degrees® in 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, after having served on the 10,000 Degrees Board for several years. As COO for 10,000 Degrees, Claudia oversees the implementation of our Strategic Plan and all finance, human resources and day-to-day operations. This entails leading the development and delivery of the annual operations plan and budget and leading, managing and building a high performance organization (including coordination/integration across departments, systems, processes and personnel) as well as strategic project management.
Claudia has over 20 years of experience in non-profit and corporate management, including executive and Board leadership focusing on strategy, finance, relationship development, operations and organizational management. Prior to joining 10,000 Degrees, she was a Managing Director for Wellington Management, managing the firm’s San Francisco office and leading their efforts in the Western U.S. Prior to joining Wellington in 2000, Claudia spent six years at Bankers Trust Company in various client service roles in New Jersey and London. She earned an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and her BA in economics and Spanish from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
