10,000 Degrees provides scholarships to individuals with significant financial need who exhibit a strong desire to go to college, and who have the perseverance necessary to graduate from college and accomplish their educational goals.
One application allows you to apply for as many scholarships as you may be eligible. Some scholarships require supplemental materials, so please read directions carefully.
If eligible, you are required to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before applying for any 10,000 Degrees scholarships. The FAFSA is found at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need the information provided by the FAFSA on this application.
If you are not eligible to file the FAFSA, you must fill out the California Dream Act Application if eligible. The California Dream Act Application is available online at www.caldreamact.org
In addition, please have your and your parents financial information ready (2014 or 2015 tax returns, W-2s, etc.).
Please contact 10,000 Degrees with any questions. All applications must be received by March 2, 2016 at 11:59 pm. No late submissions will be considered for funding. This includes all supplementary information that is requested (it must be postmarked by March 2nd). It is your responsibility to respond to all requests for information in a timely manner.
