The 10,000 Degrees High School Readiness Summit is a free and in-person early college and career summer program for rising 9th grade students that focuses on preparing them to feel confident entering high school. In addition to supporting students in their education, the program will provide an opportunity to grow their skills in their everyday life including budgeting, advocating, and more. The High School Readiness Summit includes a parent portion as well!
YOU’LL LEARN…
Current 10,000 Degrees 8th grade students attending West Marin Elementary, Tomales Elementary, Hamilton Middle School, San Jose Middle School, or Martin Luther King Jr. Academy.

Yes! If a student participates in other enrichment programs that provide similar services to 10,000 Degrees, they can still participate in the 10,000 Degrees High School Readiness Summit, provided that it does not conflict with other summer programming offered by other organizations.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE 10,000 DEGREES HIGH SCHOOL READINESS SUMMIT?
Students attending a partner middle school or high school site will have access to *FREE* year-round workshops and support from a near-peer 10,000 Degrees Fellow. Students will receive email updates for upcoming workshops, and other events to support their transition to high school.
