The 10,000 Degrees Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of the 10,000 Degrees mission to support students from low-income backgrounds to and through college to positively impact their communities and the world. At 10,000 Degrees we believe that education is the foundation of a just and equitable society. Students and their families as well as schools and local leaders each play a critical role in educating the next generation and strengthening the economic vitality and social health of our communities. The students we serve are 100% from low-income communities; 89% Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian Pacific Islander, and People of color; and 85% first generation students.
The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to produce, coordinate and manage multiple projects primarily for the development department (80%) with additional design support across all 10,000 Degrees departments (20%).

This position is currently a hybrid role and you will be expected to come into our San Rafael office on occasion. However, the majority of this position will be remote.
One of 10,000 Degrees strategic goals is to significantly grow and sustain financial support. Broadening our impact across the Bay Area will depend on increasing the effectiveness of our fundraising and communication efforts. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in helping to achieve this vision. They will work closely with Marketing and Development to design compelling, on-brand materials to enhance all of our communication campaigns aimed to raise our visibility among target audiences.
