Program Manager, North Marin

At 10,000 Degrees, we believe that all students deserve access to the tools and resources they will need to successfully apply and matriculate to college. The North Marin manager oversees this process starting with 8th grade students in our middle school transition programs, supervises our high school ELD support program (Metas), and our open access work with all 12th grade students in Novato Unified School District.

Responsibilities

    • Support North Marin Fellows in managing their caseloads and programs
    • Facilitate weekly 1-1 supervision meetings with Fellows
    • Participate in regular supervision meetings with the North Bay Access team
    • Co-facilitate weekly Early College and Career Awareness meetings with the other Marin Program Manager
    • Conduct initial onboarding and ongoing content expertise training for North Marin Fellows
    • Build & maintain excellent relationships with NUSD personnel
    • Attend regular meetings with the counseling teams at each high school
    • Coordinate financial aid completion workshops for all three NUSD high schools
    • Facilitate weekly meetings with the Early College and Career Awareness Team
    • Collaborate with community partners to support county wide education initiatives
    • Present at state and national conferences, or support fellows in presenting in these spaces
    • Maintain up-to-date, accurate files and data; generate program reports & campaigns in Salesforce
    • Assist in the fellow hiring process every Spring
    • Travel within assigned region
    • Support 10,000 Degrees Development team at fundraising events
    • Support 10,000 Degrees Leadership team on panels, consulting projects, and data requests
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Commitment to 10,000 Degrees’ mission, values, and goals
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • First-generation college graduates from low-income backgrounds preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • High level of professionalism: promptness, preparedness, professional appearance
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Experience in financial aid and college access/success matriculation steps strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Google applications, Instagram, Salesforce, Canva
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Willing to learn and be self-reflective
  • History of working effectively as part of a team
