Law School Scholarship


10,000 Degrees Law School Scholarships provide a one-time award of up to $5,000 for law school students.

The Marin County Bar Association Legal Education Scholarship was established in 2011 by members of the Marin County Bar Association (MCBA) to support student scholarships for law school and inspire future leaders in the legal community who have an interest in giving back to the local community.

  • Enrolled full-time in an accredited law school geographically located in California; AND
  • Graduate of a Marin County high school OR has continuously lived in Marin County for no less than a 3-year period immediately prior to submission of the scholarship application;
  • Demonstrated financial need;
  • Other relevant factors that will be considered include academic achievement, community service and involvement, career goals and special circumstances as demonstrated by the completed scholarship application.

Michael F. O’Donnell Memorial Scholarship was established to support students currently enrolled in law school or pursuing a law-related career in honor of Michael F. O’Donnell, a brilliant litigator distinguished by the qualities of supreme decency, honesty, humility, and humanity.

  • Students must maintain legal residency in Sonoma County.
  • Students must be enrolled in first or second year of law school.
