14 Feb Meet Denia Calenda

Sonoma Valley High School graduate and 10,000 Degrees almuna Denia Calenda recently received her bachelor’s degree from Sonoma State University in Applied Statistics with a concentration in the Actuarial Field. She is currently the Enrollment & Outreach Manager at the North Bay Children’s Center. Denia also serves on the Sonoma County Regional Parks Commission and on the Board of Los Cien Sonoma County. Thanks to 10,000 Degrees, Denia says, “I was able to see that my dreams were as big as I wanted them to be.” Having overcome many personal challenges, including separation from her mother for seven years of her childhood, Denia appreciates, “all the truly amazing people who have become donors,” adding, “We are the future. We are each One Degree.”
