13 Apr Middle School College Day Tour

On April 12th, 48 students ranging from grades 6-9 participated in our second CollegeDayTour designed for younger students. Thanks to a special collaboration with Shoreline School District, Tomales Elementary, West Marin Elementary, and Tomales High School, these students split the day between CSU Sacramento and UC Davis. Shoreline School District also provided staffing and transportation for the tour.

This second tour is part of an ongoing effort by Marin Education Fund to create and sustain college aspirations for younger students, building on national data that indicate that college-going is more likely the earlier the exposure to college as an option.
