25 Jun Jose Soto Plays at NASCAR!

10,000 Degrees scholarship recipient Jose Soto and his family’s mariachi band, Mariachi Barragan, will played at this weekend’s NASCAR races at Sonoma Raceway thanks to connections among the 10,000 Degrees community.  Board of Directors member Herb Dwight met Jose at a recent 10,000 Degrees event, and he complimented Jose’s talents as a violinist during a 10,000 Degrees Sonoma County Advisory Board meeting a few days later. Fellow Advisory Board member Steve Page, CEO at Sonoma Raceway, got inspired, and now Jose and his family will be playing the biggest gig of their career before 70,000 NASCAR fans at the Toyota Save-Mart 350!
